This Solder-It solder paste flows at 395 degrees Fahrenheit. This is below the melting point of aluminum. Use this paste for tasks such as soldering various types and gauges of aluminum. You can also use it to solder aluminum to other metals. This includes aluminum tubing, aluminum antennas, and aluminum radiators. It also works for soldering air conditioning condensers, refrigeration, and much more. How to use solder paste: Clean the joint area with a stainless-steel brush. Push the syringe plunger to apply paste along the base metal joint area. Place flame about two to three inches from the surface area and evenly heat the workpiece. Avoid applying the flame directly onto the solder paste until the flow temperature is reached. With the top of the flame at the joint area, direct the flow of paste along the length of the joint area. Allow the area to cool before washing flux residue off using warm soapy water and a stiff brush.
